UMM Scholarship for International Student 2024
What is sUMMit?
sUMMit is UMM Scholarship for International Student assisted by University of Muhammadiyah Malang, provide opportunities for people from developing countries, particularly those countries located in the Asia and Africa, to undertake full time undergraduate, master, and postgraduate study in certain study programs at University of Muhammadiyah Malang.
Scholarship Scheme
⇒ FULLY FUNDING
►Description
The scholarships awarded are in the form of all educational costs for 8 (eight) semesters for Bachelor (S1) level, 4 (four) for Master's level (S2), and 6 (six) semesters for Doctoral level (S3). Students must also participate in the Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) program for two (2) semesters for those who still need to gain Indonesian language skills.

General Requirements
Be a maximum of 21 years for the bachelor program.
Be a maximum of 35 years for master's program.
Be a maximum of 42 years for doctorate programs.
Be a citizen of Asian or African countries. (It is intended for other continents in the Specific numbers).
Be able to provide the health certificate declared by doctors or hospitals registered in their respective counties.
Not be a citizen of Indonesia, hold permanent residency in Indonesia, or be applying for a visa to live in Indonesia permanently.
Not be a permanent or impermanent worker in Indonesia while studying.
After completing the scholarship programs, it is expected to come back to their home
Spesific Requirements for Bachelor Degree
The maximum age to apply for the scholarship is 21 years old
Hold a High School degree (please provide the scanned degree certificate and academic transcripts in English). Please be advised that Bachelor degree holder is not eligible to apply for the Bachelor Degree scholarship.

Prove of citizenship by submit Official Passport, which is still valid for at least 2 years again.
Spesific Requirements for Master Degree
The maximum age to apply for the scholarship is 35 years old.
Hold a Bachelor degree (please provide the scanned degree certificate and academic transcripts in English). Please be advised that Master degree holder is not eligible to apply for the Master Degree scholarship.

Prove of citizenship by submit Official Passport, which is still valid for at least 2 years again.

Hold a Bachelor degree and Master degree (please provide the scanned degree certificate and academic transcripts in English). Please be advised that Doctor degree holder is not eligible to apply for the Doctoral Degree scholarship.

Step to Apply
Create Account
Go to online.umm.ac.id and click Personal Admission "Mandiri" category button and sign up. Make sure your email is correct.
Check your email inbox and make sure Registration PIN has been sent to your email. Go to online.umm.ac.id again and login, enter your email and PIN then click login. Choose your education level (as international student).
Study program selection
Choose the study programs you desire and prepare the required documents. Complete all biodata and upload all the required documents.
Verification
All submitted data and documents will be checked and verified when it's complete and fulfill all the requirements.
Interview
Attend the interview test as scheduled by the IRO team. The interview consists of two parts: (1) a basic academic knowledge interview for all applicants and (2) a scholarship interview for those applying for "Scholarship of UMM for International Students" (sUMMit)
Final Announcement
Go to online.umm.ac.id and log in with your Account to check the announcement of your acceptance to the university.
Enrollment
You will be enrolled at UMM and receive a student number, including your digital student ID card. Please see the further information on the enrolment procedure.
Pre-Departure
Prepare your departure to Indonesia and join the language, culture, and orientation programs
